Valley Massage Therapy Associates is made up of compassionate and caring
Massage Therapists, focusing on a number of Massage Modalities and
Therapeutic Techniques. Theodore Schiff (Ted), thoroughly enjoys developing and implementing common sense solutions while working with complex situations.
Ted is a 2003 graduate of Central Mass School of Massage and
Therapy located in Spencer Massachusetts. A top notch student looking to share his
knowledge with others, Ted
works as a staff instructor at Central Mass School of Massage and Therapy as well as Branford Hall Career Institute located in Springfield Massachusetts.
Ted is a Massage Therapist at Brooks
& Butterfield, "The Day Spa" located in Northampton, Kripalu
Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge & Franklin
Medical Center located in Greenfield Massachusetts where he is an integral
part of the medical staff working alongside doctors and nurses in the Oncology Department.
Ted is currently responsible for the Business, Theory & Reflexology curriculum at Central Mass School of Massage and Therapy and also serves in an administrative capacity for the School as well. In his spare time Ted is responsible for coordinating & publishing the Central Mass School of Massage and Therapy's quarterly news publication "CMS In The News".
Jody Bennett is a 1999 Graduate of Central Mass School of Massage and Therapy. Along with holding a Certificate in Massage Therapy, Jody is also a Certified Reflexologist and Reiki Practitioner. He has over (12) years experience in Martial Arts Training in 1st Dan Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Judo, Wrestling, Boxing, Kickboxing and Tai Chi.
Jody's past experience includes working as a Physical Therapy Technician in Irving Texas from 1993 till 1995, working with patients performing ultrasounds, Hot and Cold Hydro-Therapies and assisting in Assistive Exercises. Jody has extensive Masssage Therapy and Physical Fitness experience working with Atheletes in a Professional Gym atmosphere and has worked as a Clinical Massage Therapist in a Chiropractic setting in both Palmer and Southbridge Massachusetts.
Tammy Grigas is a Licensed Massage Therapist at Valley Massage Therapy Associates. Tammy is originally from Ware Massachusetts and currently resides in Bondsville Massachusetts. Tammy also attended and graduated from Central Mass School of Massage and Therapy, graduating at the top of her class and she proudly holds the distinction of receiving the Outstanding Student Achievement Award for 2003.
Tammy's extensive backround in healthcare services spans many years. She has held certifications as a Nurses Assistant and in Home Health Care and continues to work as a Personal Care Practitioner. Tammy's emphasis is on Swedish Massage for general muscle tension and relaxation as well as Sports Massage for more specific muscle groups, depending on the clients individual activities and personal needs. Tammy also operates a Massage Therapy Practice of her own in Granby Massachusetts.
